once again, i love learning about libraries. especially badass ones like the Dharma Gunj

Can you imagine being at this place when it was at its prime? This once had such a massive collection of Buddhist knowledge, that when the Muslims burned it, it remained aflame for months. MONTHS.

the best crackers--if you really want to know--i will tell you--but only you

as a knowledgeable grain eater--that is i don't think white flour, corn, white potato, pasta, or noodles is really worth my calories and energy--however suburban cougar and skinny bitch that may sound, whatever, we really aren't the manual laborers and workhorses we used to be a hundred years ago, and there really isn't a lack of choices, or lack of expendable income (for the most part, here i say, in America), so I just don't see the reason to eat like poor farmers.  i know it tastes good, but we can do better.  i also don't see the reason to attend school like farmers, yet i further digress.

SOO, knowledgeable grain eater me (I'm so great right?), in always looking for tasty, nutrient packed replacements for typical fatwhitegrain products, such as crackers, i found these babies. so much better than rice cakes IMO. so i'm telling the internet about them.  as well as rant about primitive eating i guess. deal or don't deal.

lidos and hot spring pools. sam wants swimming culture.

it's january. i'm wearing snow boots to work.  i've consumed a lot of whiskey. holidays are over.

it can't be helped that looking to the beautification of swimming that took place in the 30's and 40's makes me feel so much more excited.  so does the memory of swimming in hot spring pools in colorado.  and playing the tide in Small Point.  so for now there's just images of the idea of the picture of the feeling of the time that i wawnt want.

PIRATEY PIRATE STUFF (but not really)

I love pirates. and this is a brief post I found from a librarian's blog about a Swedish political Pirate Party (such things exist?!!yes!) that makes a comparison between Pirate Bay and libraries, with regards to copyright issues.  FTW.
